getting back to it in China June 29, 2018 music
Topic Start Time End Time Notes
warm-up 23:11 23:19 1234 pattern
scales 23:19 23:45 straight up and down

Just simple 1-2-3-4 exercise for warm-up. I didn’t have much time today, since got off work late and got home later. Tomorrow is the last day of training for my new job, and everything else in my life is now more or less settled for the next year in Beijing, so I can finally get back to it.

Last time I played, I practiced my alternate picking with scales. This time, I did the same. No repertoire or anything else.

My roommate, Easen, has a nylon-string guitar, though, and he reminded me of Segovia’s transcription of Bach’s Chaconne in D minor, which I had tried to learn before. I might take another crack at that for repertoire next time.
